C# Full Stack Engineer

Join an established casino and social gaming software company as a C# Full Stack Engineer on its Atlanta based development team. This role focuses on building and maintaining production ready slot style game applications in a collaborative, hands on engineering environment.

This is a contributor role centered on writing, debugging, and improving real game code used in live products. You will work closely with other developers and cross functional partners while participating in an Agile, sprint driven workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, debug and maintain C# game services and hardware integrations
  • Develop, debug, and maintain C#/Unity based casino style and slot game front ends
  • Contribute hands on to production code across multiple stages of development
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers to deliver high quality game features
  • Participate in sprint planning, execution, and iteration within an Agile environment
  • Write unit tests and refactor existing systems to improve stability and maintainability
  • Design and work with SQL based relational data structures as needed
  • Support shared code ownership and team based development practices
  • Analyze technical problems, research solutions, and implement improvements
  • Balance individual development work with active collaboration and communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 4 to 7 years of professional experience developing full stack applications applications
  • Strong understanding of software engineering and programming language fundamentals
  • Experience building or supporting interactive or game related applications
  • Comfort working in Agile, sprint based development teams
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and debugging skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis

Skills & Experience

  • High proficiency with C# software engineering at all tiers of n-tier applications
  • Understanding and ability to articulate tradeoffs of C# engineering choices and technique
  • Experience designing and working with SQL relational schemas
  • Familiarity with unit testing and code refactoring practices
  • Ability to understand and work through complex technical systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Experience with Unity game engine
  • Experience with modern front end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
